Star Wars Triple Bill British (Quad) |
|
Date / Version:
(1983) Triple Bill |
|
Artwork by:
Tom Chantrell / Tom Jung / Josh Kirby |

Variations:
(Poster is found rolled / folded) Poster
has been reprinted and the reprint is widely available. Also, watch out for
the slightly smaller (27" x 39") quads that are similar in
paper feel to the original versions (30" x 40"). These infamous
quads are missing the full white strip at the top. Why these were printed
remains a mystery, but we can speculate that Feref Associates Ltd London used them commercially as a promotional tie-in. Most poster dealers want them to be originals, so they can charge
accordingly. FYI - these are different than the original 30" x 40"s. |

Bootlegs:

Other Info:
Poster commemorates the showing of the
Trilogy in the UK - '3 in one programme'. An easy way to tell if this poster
is an original, look for the extra white strip of paper at the top, that
allows for the whole Vader head mask to be seen uncut. |
