This full color poster first appeared as a full page newspaper ad during the
2005 4th of July weekend. It contained a free ticket incentive to see the
movie over the holiday. Yoda appears wielding his lightsaber in front of a
very festive fireworks display. At the time of the newspaper release there
was no formal poster made for this event, but after fans and collectors
overwhelmingly clamored for a poster to be printed, the StarWarsShop had
this ad turned into an exclusive poster a year later. So, although not
officially a theatrical release poster, it is still a very cool poster based
on the stunning ad campaign. (Less than 800 were produced) |
