Pictured in this blog listing is the marquee billboard from the premiere of Star Wars at the Cathay Theatre in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (1977). The cinema was built in 1958 and opened with “Campbell’s Kingdom” starring Dirk Bogarde. The Cathay Theatre was closed in December 1997 and demolished in 2002.
