Other Info: In the 80's, a small-scale film distribution / mobile Cinema was created in Ghana (West Africa) with the arrival of video tapes. As these mobile Cinemas traveled from village to village, they had local artists hand-paint these movie promotional advertisements. This canvas poster was created for the outdoor and indoor roving venues for the Ewoks: The Battle for Endor. It has been painted on the back of a Two-Bag flour sack. It contains a re-rendering of Italian artist Renato Casaro's Battle for Endor drawing. It has the main characters Cindel Towani, Teek, Wicket, and Mace Towani on a hillside mound, with King Terak and his marauder's overshadowing them. The Ewoks title is printed in yellow at the bottom and it mentions the video club at the top right.

Bootlegs*: Collectors, please be wary of online business's selling "old" African flour bag canvas paintings from the original trilogy films. Because of the steep demand for these unique illustrated items, there are many modern artists creating whatever film you want, but these aren't the originals that were used to promote the VHS showings from back in the traveling club cinema days of the late 80's and early 90's.
