Other Info: This small A4-sized flyer was distributed to Situbondo Theatre (Situbondo is a small rural town in East Java, Indonesia) for the promotion of the film back in '82. It was printed on a glossy coated paper, and at the top, it has the tagline "The Star Wars Saga Continues". It also has a quote from Time Magazine -"a Better Film Than 'Star Wars'...". At the bottom center is the Empire Strikes Back logo in black and yellow and the cast members listed are Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Billy Dee Williams, and Anthony Daniels, along with Director Irvin Kershner. The Dolby System box and 20th Century Fox emblems are in the bottom corners, as well. With a thin white border around the whole design, the illustration makes up the larger part of the flyer and it sort of has an 80's psychedelic color scheme montage. It contains elements from Tom Jung's Star Wars style "A" drawing and his Empire Strikes Back style "B" drawing, plus there are superimposed pieces from Roger Kastel's style "A" Empire Strikes Back artwork in the mix. On the back, in black and white, there are several movie scenes from the film all piecemealed together, with a white blank space that has the theater's name and the opening dates of the film, all stamped in purple ink. In Indonesian it says, "Lebih hebat dari Moonraker" (Greater than Moonraker), "Lebih mahal dari Star Wars" (More expensive than Star Wars), "Lebih action dari Superman" (More action than Superman), and "Lebih kolosal dari Flash Gordon" (More colossal than Flash Gordon). It also mentions "Pemenang 8 Oscars" (Winner of 8 Oscars) and has a circle in the lower left-hand corner that shows the 1982 USA box office total of $289,077,089 for the film. Very few copies of this small flyer have survived, because according to the flyer's original owner the "Star Wars" films in Indonesia were not very popular at the time, so most of the promotional information was discarded.
