South Korean Return of the Jedi Style "B" One-Sheet
Other Info: This one-sheet contains the Rebel cast action montage with Darth Vader looming in the background and X-wing fighters heading towards the Death Star II. The artwork on the Return of the Jedi style "B" poster was the main illustration used on the majority of the posters around the world for the regular advertising campaign. The red/orange 스타워즈 lll 제다이 (Star Wars III Jedi) logo can be seen centered in the lower middle third of the poster, and to the left is the cast and credits area. Across the top it says, "슈퍼시리즈스타워즈의최종완결편!!" (The final episode of Super Series Star Wars!!). Printed for use in Korea, it contains a lot of taglines and box office numbers to get the viewers excited about seeing the film. It also contains the 20th Century Fox and Dolby System emblems and the Korean film seal. Interesting Note* - Apparently, from what we can tell - the original "Empire Strikes Back" film did not have an official release in South Korea, because none of the countries film importers chose to offer it. Also, the "Return of the Jedi" finally debuted in South Korea in the summer of '87 (7/17/87). That was four years after it's initial worldwide release in '83. (If anyone knows why, please let us know the reason for the delay.)
