Other Info: This A2-sized poster is the second piece from Tibor Helényi's famous Hungarian Star Wars poster series. This poster contains images of a pair of stomping AT-ATs with the large orange planet of Hoth (?) in the background, while two Star Destroyers and TIE-fighters fly overhead. The bottom third of the poster portrays a Vader-looking warrior image holding a lightsaber, standing in line with what appears to be other warriors - cold assault stormtroopers/bounty hunters. The top of the poster has the title - "A Birodalom visszavág" and the credits area that says, "Szines, szinkronizált amerikai tudományos-fantasztikus film - A Csillagok Újabb Háborúja Főszereplő: Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Harrison Ford, Frank Oz Rendezte: Irvin Kershner (Colorful, dubbed American science fiction film - Another Star Wars Starring Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Harrison Ford, Frank Oz - Directed by Irvin Kershner). You will also find the film distributors MOKÉP and MAHIR Magyar Hirdelo emblems on the upper left-hand side. Tibor saw the films, but while working on the oil paintings, he could only rely on his memories, so his works represented the gist of the movies, but he included and created new visions to go along with what was actually in the film. These painted compositions are very surreal and expressive while reflecting the popular visual world of the 1980s - which included the world of illustrated comics, and the popularity of the growing sci-fi genre.
