Other Info: On November 1, 2002, "Star Wars Episode II Attack Of The Clones The IMAX Experience" was released to 58 select market large-format theatres. The film was repurposed for exhibition on IMAX Screens, using IMAX's new DMR™ digital re-mastering technology. The technology enabled a 35mm film's size, picture quality, and sound quality to be enhanced to 70mm IMAX standards. After "APOLLO 13", this was the second film to be repurposed using DMR technology. This banner was used to promote the IMAX release of Attack of the Clones and is made of heavy vinyl material and contains the poster image of Yoda wielding his green lightsaber while straddling certain landmarks of the United States and Canada. The tagline at the top says, "Size Matters Not. - Except On An IMAX Screen". The illustration is bordered by a navy blue inner frame and a grayish outer border, with orange skies and planets in the background. The film logo is at the bottom along with the Star Wars, Lucasfilm Ltd., 20th Century Fox and PG Ratings box emblems. This is the large version of this cinema banner for hanging on huge walls and it comes with wooden dowels top and bottom to make hanging easier. Interesting Note* - 23 minutes were cut from the IMAX "Attack of the Clones" film version, because most IMAX platter systems only had a 120-minute capability.
