USA The Phantom Menace Version "A" 3D Variety Gold Pin One-Sheet

Other Info: Lucasfilm Ltd. and 20 Century Fox partnered with Variety (trade magazine) and their Children’s Charity Club to create a golden pin featuring fan favorites C-3PO and R2-D2, and "Star Wars Paper Hearts" to raise funds for Variety programs that serve children who are disabled and disadvantaged. The collector’s items were sold for $1.00 / $3.00 in more than 1,000 movie theaters and select retail outlets nationwide from November 2011 – April 2012. The program coincided with the all-new 3-D presentation of Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace in theaters. This is the "Star Wars Gold Pin" promotional one-sheet poster that was used at the box office to market the event and it is similar to the regular one-sheet released to theaters. It has the globally used graphic illustration for the re-release of The Phantom Menace in 3-D. Darth Maul is the centerpiece of this poster and he is holding his double-bladed red lightsaber. He is surrounded by Obi-wan Kenobi, Master Yoda and R2-D2. The Boonta Eve Classic Podracers are hurling across the bottom front top layer of the graphic and the Tatooine landscape is beyond them. The Variety Children’s Charity icon can be seen in the upper right hand side over Maul's shoulder, and on the other side is the C-3PO and R2-D2 golden heart shaped pin. At the top it says, "Have A Heart And The Force Will Be With You, Always. Donate to Variety The Children's Charity to get your Star Wars Gold Heart." The poster also has the 20th Century Fox and Lucasfilm Ltd. emblems, plus the Technicolor bar symbol in the bottom border. (See pics below)
