Other Info: Twentieth Century Fox Film Studios sent out a note to theaters explaining that the Return of the Jedi SE film would have a new release date, pushed back a week, because of the strong attendance of patrons still seeing the Empire Strikes Back SE. Along with the note, they included this new green snipe sticker that read: "NEW DATE - March 14, 1997". It was to be placed over the bottom third of the one-sheet poster to convey that the third trilogy film would have a new release date. It is uncertain just how many theaters did this, because the version "D" one-sheet was quickly replaced by the version "F" one-sheet that had the film's new date. Plus, we have actually never seen very many of these green snipe stickers in general. Interesting Note* - Occasionally, you will find the "Return of the Jedi" SE version "D" one-sheet poster with a green replacement sticker pasted onto it announcing the film's date change.
