Other Info: This mini-poster shows the Star Wars logo against a dark blue background, with the 20th Century Fox symbol below it. In the white area at the bottom, venues could write-in their theater and/or film release information by hand, stamp, or printed text. The mini posters were part of the advance advertisement campaign put out by 20th Century Fox. These handbills were distributed to theaters, campuses, libraries, record stores, etc. The layout designs on these mini-posters coincided and/or resembled the blue and white motif of the Star Wars theatrical style "B" advance teaser and the larger advance seven sheet posters. The mini posters are almost always found flat, they are printed on glossy slick paper, and the sizes vary. These mini posters are unique, because they give us a look at the first public advertisements announcing Star Wars. (Blank) See pics below for other variations.
