Other Info: The Star Wars Special Edition theatrical standee #6969, produced by Drissi Advertising, weighs 35 lbs, came with an instruction setup guide, and is held together with metal and plastic bolts. It contains thirteen of your favorite characters, plus the Death Star, that is to be placed on top of a black cardboard base that uses three-dimensional lettering, which spells out "Star Wars - The Trilogy - Special Edition", along with "Join the Celebration - Back on the Big Screen". It also has the film's original intended release dates and title logos located on the lower front side. The display measures almost 10 feet wide and it started showing up in theater lobbies in November of '96. This is one of the few promotional items theater owners could purchase for the 'Special Edition' release of the trilogy films. Interesting Note* - On the instruction pages, each cardboard character is named, except for the Jawa, who is simply called a sand person. Kazuhiko Sano was the artist who painted the individual characters and the illustrated Death Star image.
