Other Info: This promotional art poster was produced through AFI's Jane Firstenberg, director Steven Spielberg and artist Drew Struzan for the Movie Festival for the World Athletes in Los Angeles, CA in 1984. This was the first and only time that all of the major Hollywood studios cooperated in the production of a work of art. Drew visited all three Olympic Villages to meet and autograph posters for the athletes. The artwork itself was produced as a poster for the Athletes (see pic below). Used to promote the film festival, it is printed on a heavy weight archival paper of museum quality and has the title "America's Movies for the World's Athletes" across the top. Also, it has the Games of the XXIIIrd Olympiad Los Angeles 1984 and Olympic logo at the bottom. There are press and artist proofs of the athletes illustration.
