Other Info: The poster has the image of R2-D2 and C-3PO standing in front of an orange-red starfield nebula with a green white and red white vertical column on either side of them. The Return of the Jedi film logo is printed below them in white text. The background looks very cloudy and gaseous as if a mountain was letting off lots of volcanic activity. The poster is known as the 'Starfall' or 'Nova' to collectors and was hard to obtain even when it was printed in '83. This premium poster was offered to the public exclusively at the theaters themselves during the first release of the film and was subsequently given away to purchasers of the Return of the Jedi Yamakatsu trading cards later on. You will often find a Licensed by Toho Co., Ltd. affixed commerce stamp on the lower left-hand side of this poster. (See pics below)

Variations*: There are smaller digital reprints of this poster from the Lucasfilm Ltd. StarWars.com online shop, printed in the mid-2000's, and Topps reproduced the poster as a Jedi Widevision Mini Poster card #5 in 1995.
